We need a house sitter

South Eastern Victoria - Gippsland

Located just 5 minutes from the centre of Warragul (in West Gippsland Victoria), and 1.5 hours from the Melbourne CBD, we are 1 hour from the coast and a short drive to the mountains.
We are looking for a sitter who enjoys country life. You will be staying in our fully renovated self contained 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage and looking after our 3 lovely small dogs and chooks. (Cavoodle, mini schnauzer and cocker spaniel). There is good wifi so suitable to work from home. Located on 50 acres, there is plenty of space to park your caravan, take walks and enjoy the rolling green countryside.
If you have experience with cattle, checking fences and water troughs it would be great but not essential.
You will need to keep things tidy around the cottage but there will not be much to do. The dogs love a daily walk around the farm but are happy just staying around the house too. No heavy manual work is required. We would love to chat to you and show you more photos if your are interested in our sit.

My stay at Rob and Angela’s place was great! They have a beautiful farm property with superb views. They made my job very easy with a comprehensive and simple list of how to keep everything in order. The farm style flat that I stayed in was very comfortable and was already furnished with everything I needed. Their pets and livestock were enjoyable to look after and relatively low maintenance. A perfect sit. House was great in a beautiful spot. The three dogs, Sadie, Annie and Heidi were no trouble and got on so well with our three young daughters. We’d definitely recommend and would love to sit again in the future.
