Our double storey house is on a quiet street and close to lovely off street paths for walking, jogging or cycling. Also within walking distance (1,5 km to tram and shops).
We have 2 dogs. Slater, 14 yr old Jack Russell /Aussie Terrier. Very easy going, mature gentleman.
Max- a 3 yr old rescue Jack Russell terrier. Has some issues with separation anxiety but not too bad in his familiar environment at home.
We have a swimming pool, so just need the weir box cleared from leaves occasionally.
Most enjoyable experience at Vermont South caring for two lovely Jack Russells.
Both Max and Slater instantly bonded with me. Max enjoyed long walks each day as had plenty of energy. Slater the older dog had separate shorter walks so not to tire him out.

It was a pleasure looking after Max and Slater, two affectionate fun-loving terriers. Unfortunately I developed a dose of the flu during the sit (one of the follies of the pastime) and couldn’t have had better companions and an environment to help me recuperate. Owners David and Kathy were most kind and considerate throughout and I would be happy to do a repeat sit.
House sitting is a fun, immersive way to experience this magnificent country - without paying a cent for accommodation!
