Bluff Point WA

Hi, we need a house sitter from January 14 to February 2nd, 2025, to mind our 7 year old male German Shepherd Charlie. Charlie is reactive so we would prefer someone with experience of this, or failing that plenty of experience with dogs, preferably big breeds. He is stranger averse but a smooch when he knows you.
Charlie is extremely wary of other dogs, especially if they are off lead so he has some special instructions for walks.
We invite travellers to enjoy almost three weeks lay over in our beautiful regional city with its wonderful foreshore walkways, lots of cafes, weekend markets, shipwreck museum and rural hinterland.
We live in Bluff Point, a peaceful part of Geraldton, and we are over the road from the beach. It’s a great place to unwind and view a spectacular sunset over the Indian Ocean every single night.
We prefer someone who can be around at least a couple of days early to get to know Charlie. We have plenty of backyard space to park a big van if required. A guest room is available in our home if preferred and use of all facilities. Wifi, Netflix etc available.
Our home is currently being renovated, mostly completed inside, still a bit to do outside. It’s bright and comfortable and guests always love it here.
Charlie sleeps outside at night but usually prefers to be inside during the day. He is ok to leave when you want to go to town or sightseeing or whatever. He likes at least one sniffy walk a day but other than that is happy to laze around.
