I am looking for a house sitter to care for my two feathered children for a few days over my next short swing as I work Fifo.
The care for the boys (2x Rainbow Lorikeets indoor birds) will require uncovering the cages each morning and preparing their breakfast for the day (microwave fresh vegies and a nectar powder mix that takes about 10mins to prepare, then its all done). Then each night they are covered up for bed time. And perhaps every couple of days spending a little time with them out to stretch their wings in the evening, they love to hangout on the couch and relax.
They are extremely loving, super funny, always talkative and easy to fall in love with.
Apart from the boys breakfast and bed time, the rest of the day is all yours to either enjoy the relaxing homely lifestyle, or head out to get amongst the bustling social atmosphere of the Rockingham foreshore with gorgeous views along the beach front and an array of cafes & restaurants to choose from.
You will have your own bedroom (fully furnished with double bed and a tv) in a 3x1 home located in Rockingham, 5min walk from the train station, 3min drive to the main shopping centre and 3min to the Rockingham foreshore.
It is preferable to meet up with sitters a few days prior to the commencement date to run through the birds care and ensure you are happy with everything.

This was my longest and most enjoyable house and pet sitting experience by far 2.5 months. Angus is easy going and explains things well and provides a clean, accessible home close to the beach and shops with safe place to park your car under carport. Clear Instructions to care for birds and house are easily readable. The communication was super easy. Long term agreements can be made, as Angus is working one week on one week off.
The day is yours.
Wake up in the morning and prepare breakfast for the two birds and take them to bed in the evening. Once a week a little clean up, simple as. Angus will give you instructions and prepares everything in advance.
During the day you get anywhere from the nearby train station.
Big shopping center is also near by.
