We need a house sitter

Brisbane - Eastern Suburbs

Hi sitters, we are looking for a sitter who may be travelling and would be willing to look after two dalmatians Ollie 11 and Dillburt 4 and one dachshund Slinky 3. They won't need walking as they are not lead trained but love the ball thrown in the yard each afternoon. Slinky sleeps indoors at night in his own bed and the other two sleep outside. Slinky loves his brothers and chooses to hang with them during the day most of the time.

We have just moved into a 4 bedroom home in Redland Bay Qld. We are one street away from the water and only a few minutes walk to the Redland Bay Hotel. Local shops are a 5 minute walk away also. The house is currently being renovated so you will have a mix of a modern kitchen with brand new smeg appliances to an 80s brown tiled bathroom. The house is clean and tidy, it just has its own character and charm.

Mel was great with her communication. We met up a week before the sit to meet the doggo's and go through what was involved. Mel also left me detailed instructions that were very easy to follow. Slinky was a delight and we shared many walks along the Esplanade together. He loves saying hello to people and all dogs. He brought many a smile to people we met. Ollie and Dilburt were exhuberant but well mannered and have lovely nature's. I would definitely consider sitting for Mel and her crew ... MORE

Mel and Russ were fantastic with communicating about their beautiful pets. I became very attached to Ollie, Dilburt and Slinky in a very quick time. I have really bonded with those 3 fur babies; all with individual and such lovable personalities. Great location and quiet suburb. Lovely pool to enjoy. It has been a pleasure.

Everything was perfect around my house and dog sitting at Mel's and Russell's place! Mel and Russell are so lovely, welcoming and very uncomplicated. They made me feel so much at home in every regard. And their dogs are wonderful, always there for a cuddle and so appreciative, good natured and great company to make you feel at home. As well I enjoyed a lot staying in Mel's and Russells beautiful and typical Queensland house and the nice neighbourhood. So, can definitely highly recommend this ... MORE
