South Gladstone QLD

4 Bedroom house, with salt water pool in tropical environment. Gladstone has everything you need from beaches, the gardens, beautiful parks, beautiful QLD Sunny weather. Close to Rockhampton, 1770 and Bundaberg for day trips.

We have two energetic cattle dogs who will be 1yr old that need walking and play. Feeding twice a day and some general interaction and love over the day. As we have a small yard, to keep it hygienic for everyone (kids, dogs) we clean up after our dogs daily, so would hope our sitter will assist here, we will leave all the tools required including gloves, bags, scooper.
They enjoy a good bone to help keep them happy at times.
We also have 5 chickens that need feeding daily (we take in food at night to avoid rats coming) and their water changed. There is also a self feeding system and water system that will be topped before we leave it’s just a matter of putting the food part out and filling it when required. The chickens will need eggs collected daily if they’re laying so they don’t eat them. They sometimes need a free-range period out the back but this requires watching, and bringing them back to their pen. They are easy to get back in by rattling a plastic bag with a few tiny pieces of broken up bread as enticement.

We have a pool that you’re welcome to swim in and hope to find someone who can clean it up to once a week so at least 4 times total while we are gone. In summer it can turn green fast if not cleaned.

Being summer we also have plants that will be desperate for a drink. We have hoses around our house to reach the main spots, and have heaps of fruit plants and potted plants out the front. We only have a few plants at our front entrance potted and some small indoor ones to care for.

We have honey bees but they do not need caring for. They are most active in the early morn and afternoon so just to be aware they are on property if you are allergic or prefer a residence bee free.
