We need a house sitter

South Western Victoria - Ballarat

Hello- we're living in lovely Creswick in a house on a 1.5 acre property.
It's only a 90 minutes drive to Melbourne, 2 hours to Great Ocean Road and 15 minutes to Ballarat and big shopping centres, cinema and theatre.
The Spa capital Daylesford and also Hepburn Springs are only 20 minutes away. The fabulous Grampians National Park is a two hour drive away.
We have three little dogs....two Maltese X (Maisie and Hamish) and a mini Dachsie (Fergus) they're definitely family members and yes, they're spoilt too and sleep with us. Except Fergus all animals are rescues. The two cats (Ruffy and Ginger) are pretty independent and no litter box cleaning is required.
We have also six chickens....so the egg supply is guaranteed. The fish pond is low maintenance and only requires one daily feed.

Our guest room has a comfy king size bed and there is plenty of space.
Depending on the weather conditions the garden might require watering One cat requires special food, but it is not a big issue (can food).

It was such a pleasure to housesit Ulrike and Lloyd's place. The 3 dogs were super cute, the cats were beautiful and easygoing, and the chooks gave us eggs daily. Ulrike was always fast to communicate if we had any questions, and we had a very nice continuous communication with her nearly daily during our housesit, where we sent pictures and updates about the animals. Both Ulrike and Lloyd are warm and generous, and we felt so welcome in their home from the beginning to the end of the housesit. ... MORE

We really enjoyed meeting Ulrike and Loyd and felt really welcome as if we are meeting long time friends. Loved interacting with Maisie and Hamish and both of them are great characters. They are so cuddly and loved affection. The cats are low maintenance and Ulrike organized everything in regards to their food and routine.
