We are looking for someone to look after our 4 year old cat, Rafiki, whilst we head away. Rafiki has an outside netted catio area and goes for daily walks on his harness but he is otherwise an indoor cat.
Rafiki is a cheeky, friendly and inquisitive cat who needs lots of stimulation and play time as well as lots of cuddles and fuss. He is super affectionate and loves a good chat too! He goes for a walk on his harness to the park next door every day. He loves it!
Rafiki is used to having someone at home most of the time. He doesn't like to be left on his own very often. His perfect house sitter would be a bit of a homebody. You'll probably find him curled up on your feet when you wake up in the morning - he is a bit of a bed-hogger!
Rafiki is not used to having children around so this would probably need to be an adult only house sit.
We live in a well-kept, non-smoking, modern two bedroom (both rooms with doors straight into the small court yard) detached townhouse, with a large open plan kitchen, dining and lounge upstairs. We have a driveway shared with 3 other houses and an integral double garage. The neighbours in the other houses are great and Rafi loves all his doggy neighbour friends too! Rafiki would quite like to be a dog.
The house has a first floor North facing balcony with huge awning and BBQ and a small yard with veggie beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas cook top and dishwasher. There is efficient internet and a designated office space if required. The house has very efficient heating and cooling.
The house is 2 a minute walk to Seddon train station, a 10 minute leisurely stroll to the heart of both Seddon and Yarraville and a 15 minute walk to Footscray.
We have veggie beds that will need daily watering after the sun has gone down if it has been dry.

Rafiki ❤️ One of the best sits I’ve done. Rafiki was easy to look after, very affectionate and curious boy he is .

I so, so enjoyed house sitting for Sara & Hannah while away & caring for the household boss, Rafiki their cat!! A lovely big boy who was an easy charge, affectionate & good company. We’d bonded on my last house sit, & did this time too. I’m very happy to do it again.

I recently enjoyed a few days at the lovely home of Sarah & Hannah in Seddon where I cared for their gorgeous Tabby, Rafiki.
Their home is clean & very comfortable and it's in a great, handy location.
Sarah & Hannah were lovely to communicate with and provided me with a comfortable stay.
The Star of the Show, Rafiki, is a beautiful tabby cat who is very easy & enjoyable to have around.

I had a lovely time at Sarah and Hannah's charming home in Seddon. It's in a quiet street, super-close to public transport and within easy walking distance to Footscray. The neighbours are very friendly and helpful. Sarah and Hannah's cat, Rafiki, is quite a character in the neighbourhood and easy to look after. Sarah and Hannah were very accommodating to me, I would be happy to sit for them, again and I can recommend them to other housesitters.
I had an absolute ball looking after Rafi! He is such a gorgeous boy, who was the best company throughout my stay. Hannah and Sarah are so lovely, warm and friendly. Their communication was excellent, and their apartment is so warm and cosy in a great area! I would definitely house sit and look after their gorgeous boy again, without hesitation!
My house sit experience at Sarah & Hannah's place was easy, restful, enjoyable & most of all lovely company with my new found Buddy, Rafiki their very affectionate cat. Oh, did Rafi have a personality!! By day 3 we had found our groove. Right down to Rafi's walking trail preferences. Sarah and Hannah were fantastic communicators and this was an easy house sit to arrange. Their house is spacious and very comfortable - and has amazing shower pressure! Rafiki is a fun and curious cat who loves a play and a scratch. He's also very photogenic!
I house and cat sat for Sarah and Hannah in late December 2020. Aside from loving spending time with their gorgeous cat, I had such a comfortable stay in their home - which was beautifully prepared for a sitter.

Sarah & Hannah, are very easy people to deal with and Rafiki is just the most adorable cat and a very good boy. the unit is lovely and we were able to walk to the cafe for a coffee and lunch. Shopping was walking distance too and we are not too young....
We would love to house sit Rafiki again if the dates suit. We would recommend house sitting for Hannah and Sarah, they are lovey girls.
