We need a house sitter

Central Coast

Chris

Seeking a cat lover that is interested in spending the Summer (6-8 Weeks) near the beaches of the Central Coast and looking after 2 beautiful Siberian Forest X DH cats.

****Please note our dates are not set yet****

This will be our first time having someone looking after our pets and they are usually very timid to new people. So we are looking for not only a great house sitter but one who truly understands Cats. Our cats are not aggressive and will tend to hide if they do not know you. They will need daily feeding, litter cleaning and daily change/refill of water.

As well as looking after our cats we ask that you look after our property like we do. This is a clean and tidy house in a quiet and friendly community. We expect that you are also clean and tidy and maintain the tranquillity of the area. We have a small front and back garden both of which will need maintaining over the period of your stay. This is a pretty small task like watering the garden (due to the heat), Mowing the lawn if getting long and maybe some general maintenance.

The House:

The house is in a peaceful and friendly street close to local amenities. It's a 3 bedroom property with a small front and back garden and offers the perfect blend of modern appeal and low-maintenance coastal living. It has Air-con downstairs and ceiling fans upstairs in the bedrooms. Broadband, a Smart TV with Netflix and a Gas Weber is available for use.

Our Suburb:

Kincumber is a south-eastern suburb of the Central Coast nested between the Kincumber Mountain Reserve and the Kincumber Waterside. When it comes to convenience Kincumber ticks all the boxes. In the village we have a Coles Supermarket, a local green Butcher, Fresko Fruit and Veg shop, Bakery, Hairdresser, Pharmacy, alongside a number of take-aways/restaurants and access to numerous walking tracks from mountain walking to waterside foreshore walking; we are really spoilt for choice. Not only that we are about 10 minutes drive from 5-6 beautiful Central Coast Beaches like Terrigal and Avoca Beach. 15 minutes to Erina Fair where there is Central Coasts largest shopping centre, 5-20 Minutes to various cellar doors and only 20 minutes to Gosford.

It's a beautiful spot if you want to get around and experience what the Southern Central Coast has to offer.

The Cats;

Both Cats were from the same litter and were rescue cats from a very early age. Because of this they are still a little shy/scared around new people. Both Cats might end up sleeping on the bed, so you will need to be ok with this. They also don't like closed doors (inside the house) so we try to keep the bedroom doors open a little for them to come and go as they please. Otherwise you will hear them calling you to let them in or out.

They are both long haired so will need a brush now and then, They like to be played with, have cuddles but are not lap cats (they might stay close to you). They are both litter trained.

Milo; 5 year old male Siberian x DM Cat. He likes to spend time with us and be close during the day. He may want to enter and exit the house numerous time throughout the day and once he gets to know you likes to have cuddles.

Ghost; 5 year old male Siberian x DM Cat. Ghost we think is the younger brother of Milo and lives up to his name. He is very independent and likes to take himself away only to be seen when he wants food or water. You have to let Ghost come to you if you want to pet him. When he wants attention however he does love being stroked and having his belly rubbed.

Initially the cats will need to stay indoors until you have built a bond with them so they feel comfortable to come back inside when you are around. They can go outside however must be in during the night time to protect them and the wildlife around us.

Looking forward to hearing from you;

Chris, Milo and Ghost
