Hi,

I am looking for house sitters for a beautiful detached house on acreage in the Hawkesbury area of Sydney. We are 15 minutes from Windsor, however no public transport is close, so transport is essential, my car will be here and available for use.

If the successful applicant doesn't have a car, I can collect from Windsor Station.

We have one greyhound, Benny, 15 chickens, 3 ducks and a blue tongue lizard. There are also 2 pythons, although if this is a deal breaker, they can go elsewhere for the duration.

The house offers a wood burning stove, aircon, WiFi, modern facilities and space, plenty of space and peace and quiet.

The dog is an indoor greyhound, he adores company, and will sleep with you if you let him!

He does NOT mix well with chickens, ducks, or blue tongues and MUST be kept away from them.

He requires at least one walk a day and must be leashed at all times outside of the perimeter fence. Benny much prefers human company and can get anxious if left alone all day every day, although if you give him a treat, he is happy for you to go out :)

Yard work is not required, although if you feel like mowing or weeding, be my guest :)

The chickens and ducks do need to be let out daily into their big run, and MUST be enclosed in their inner sanctum between dusk and dawn to keep them safe. Instructions are provided.

The blue tongue lizard, Saul, may need to be fed whilst we're away, but infrequently, and he doesn't eat much, just a few bits of fruit, veggie and a tiny bit of meat, I'll leave detailed instructions for him. The snakes won't need to be fed, just make sure their water is filled.

House to be kept clean and tidy, but no specific duties required.

There is a veggie patch to which you can help yourselves.
