Springfield Lakes QLD

Hi there!

My husband James and I are heading to Europe from mid December 2024 - mid Jan 2025 for our Honeymoon and hope to find some house sitters to care for our little home in Springfield Lakes, and give some love to our big smoocher Bull Arab, Sabi.

I am a plant lover, so would be grateful for someone who can water the plants, and we are not fussed if mowing of our small block is left unattended.

We have a very tidy home and are very house proud, but it’s not a lot of maintenance.

Sabi is female, turning 9 in December, quite placid, happy and easy, and is a lover of people, but sadly not other dogs or cats. She is a strong girl, who reacts very poorly when sighting other dogs, so for that reason, we are happy for her walks to be put on pause until we return. She loves cuddles and belly rubs and provided she gets some TLC, she will be more than content to be an inside dog for a short while. We both work full time and she is fine being left unattended for long stretches of the day.

We understand the period of house sitting spans Christmas, however rest assured, I set the tree and deco’s up every year and will make the place nice for you.

Our neighbourhood is lovely and quiet with great neighbours either side of us, quite a few defence force personnel, and other helpful families in the street. We a a short walk from a beautiful lake and lovely parklands, with the Orion shopping centre only a 5 min drive, and the IGA complex only 2 mins.

Springfield lakes is a very safe and family friendly area with tennis courts, cinemas, restaurants and cafes, walking tracks ++, playgrounds, the famous ‘Lagoon’ swimming pool and plenty more.
