We need a house sitter

Mid North - Riverland

Chelsea

We are going on holiday for 2 weeks in April/ May 2025 (dates are confirmed) and need a house sitter to look after our furry and feathered children!

We have:

3 cats
1 dog
2 pet pigs ( big pigs!! - very easy to care for )
4 chickens

We have a lovely house and garden at your disposal and would love the peace of mind that our animals and house are in safe hands while we are away.

All animals very easy to look after and with only a little heavy lifting.

We are a 5 km drive to town ( you will need your own car transport- essential!!) and live across from a river lagoon with a walking track. Town has everything you would need for a country break.

Had a wonderful time in the country looking after the animals for Chelsea and Dan. As well as being lovely people they are also birders so kindly lent me a bird book and binoculars! I saw blue-faced honeyeaters, yellow rosellas and pelicans almost every day here. Lovely little track opposite for daily walk by the lagoon. Ellie (dog) has a gorgeous character, and became more and more playful as the time went by - I will miss her! I hope I can come again and spend time with animals and birds. ... MORE

Chelsea and Dan were very welcoming and organised. Their home was comfortable, tidy and clean. Even though they had all the instructions in a booklet they still took us around the property and introduced us to all their pets and showed us what to feed them. The 2 pigs were a first for us, and we found them easy to look after. The cats were cute & friendly and enjoyed a pat or cuddle. The dog was a real character.
