Our home is in a beautiful, small, rural/mining and welcoming community. Rich gold prospecting area if that's your thing. Thanks to a respondent, we are looking for someone with a self-contained caravan to park up on our property while we are away. Power and water would be accessible. Beautiful Hoods Lagoon is a great attraction and beautiful water course with resident turtles and pelicans. Fabulous golf course, moto-x and horse sports clubs. Theresa Creek Dam, 24 km on sealed road is a wonderful recreation area that includes swimming, water skiing, fishing, general boating area and kiosk. It dam itself contains redclaw, barramundi and sleepy cod for fishing enthusiasts to catch. Robust gold prospecting community. Local butchery and bakery with great small town supermarkets and chemist. Fantastic RSL community club. Hotel night life if that's your cup of tea. Local agricultural show (oldest in Queensland) and Rodeo for you to experience during your stay. Historical Centre and Council library just waiting for your visit.
