Looking for someone to take care of my two bedroom townhouse and 2 1/2 year old dog Murphy. House has wifi, netflix, Stan, kayo. Short 8 min walk to a local park, tram, and minutes away from three great coffee shops and a pizzeria. Longer walk or cycle to Monee Ponds trail and Merri creek. 20 min walk to Sydney road for the post office hotel or woodlands beer garden and restaurants. There is space for offstreet parking for a car, and you are welcome to use bikes.

Murphy is a border collie x mastiff. He is walked two times per day for 30-45 mins. He is 4 years old so starting to calm down, but he’s 31kgs and will chase cats, and can be reactive to dogs (on walks we now cross the road when dogs are approaching). He is super-excited when first meeting, but calms down quickly if you stay calm, talk in a low voice and don’t make arrivals too exciting. He loves cuddles and sleeping at home, and lying on the balcony or his bed watching cars out the window. He can be left for long periods of time during the day. On walks we can’t let him off lead unless he’s in a fully fenced playground with no other dogs, as he doesn’t know his size and can show occasional dominance
