Looking for a single female to take care of my 5 year old kitty cat. Toofy is an indoor/outdoor cat. She is still quite playful and loves to chase flies and anything stringy all over the house. She is not too needy and generally keeps herself entertained, but does sometimes like to snuggle up in the bed or on the sofa (optional!). She needs feeding twice a day. and litter box care. Her temperament is pretty good although she does sometimes bite when overexcited, but has never pierced the skin. More like a love bite. If you want to do touristy things during the day, that is fine. She can keep herself entertained.

There is a tiny courtyard with plants that need watering in the evening and a tiny plot outside the front door that gets watered daily. Also, the courtyard has a small raised pond bowl with a few guppies that need a feed twice a day.

I have a 2 bedroom/2 story townhouse situated 1 block from the Cairns Esplanade. The spare bedroom is on the second floor. It is in a small complex of 10 with a small swimming pool that is hardly used, so you will probably have it to yourself. It is a very pleasant 1.5km or so walk/cycle into the center of town along the waterfront parks and tracks. Also just 2 blocks to the Tobruk public swimming pool complex and tennis center and about 20 minute walk to the botanical gardens/Tanks Art Centre, Bus stops one block away will get you into town or up to the northern beaches of Clifton Beach/Palm Cove. This is a strictly non-smoking (both inside and outside the complex) house sit. The pet sitter may not bring guests. I have the basic TV channels and unlimited wi-fi (very good connection and suitable for working from home). Note: if bringing your own vehicle, the garage is unavailable for parking. Parking is readily available on the street. Bicycles/scooter/motorcycle may be stored in the garage.

The guest bedroom is on the 2nd floor with an on-suite toilet/shower. It has a single bed that will fold out to a king size.
