Toobanna, near Ingham QLD

Our farmhouse is situated on a cane farm at Toobanna, 8kms south of the township of Ingham and approx 100kms north of the city of Townsville, North Queensland. We are seeking a caravanning individual/couple who would like to spend 6 weeks in our yard using their caravan. Sitters will have access to power, wi-fi internet, toilet, shower and laundry amenities and a covered outdoor area with gas pizza oven and fridge.
We have a cat (older outdoor animal). We would need the sitters to feed and care for Puss, water the plants when necessary and mow the lawn when required. We have an abundance of trees which attract great numbers of birds, contributing to our peaceful surrounds.
The Ingham area has 3 great beaches to visit, fabulous fishing, Wallaman Falls, and many other attractions great for day trips. The weather in North Qld is hot during that time of year so air-conditioning would be a necessity. Sugar cane farming is the major industry in our district. The harvesting season should be completed by December.
There is a Coles and Woolworths supermarket, a K Hub store and a good selection of local shops and cafes and a cinema. There are pubs and restaurants at Lucinda and Forrest Beach as well as in the town area.
