Utungun NSW

Hi,

Important: We are looking for house sitters who are experienced with horses.

We have 10 horses (including 4 Friesian foals), 100 odd head of cattle, and 2 older quiet dogs, and live on 140 acres 10 minutes west of Macksville on the NSW mid north coast.

We are 25 minutes from the most beautiful beaches in Australia!

Our home is an old farm house, fully modernised, with beautiful views in every direction.

We live on a tarred road, have NBN connection, garbage collection etc, so are not 'out in the sticks'.

The main criteria for housesitters is confidence and ability to handle the horses. They are fed twice a day, and a couple may need rugging depending on weather.

9 of the horses are Friesians, and by then the youngest a foal who is a month old. They are all well mannered, friendly and easy to handle.

Our 2 dogs are older friendly border collies who love attention, but are not crazy active at all, and just need pats and feeding.

The cattle will be cared for by neighbours, so there will really be nothing to worry about with them. We do have a very friendly young bull, who lives with the horses.

We have great neighbours, who are always available to lend a hand if our housesitters need help with anything, including the horses.
