South Hedland WA

House is a 4 x 2 with double carport (will have at least 1 car inside which you’d be free to use) and ample space to park a caravan or trailer.

Currently have one Labrador x American Staffy who’s the biggest sook, and a very elderly cat (she may or may not make it to Christmas?)
We also foster kittens. Currently have 6 babies on bottles, but very optimistic that they will be adopted prior to Christmas.
Will definitely let you know if we have any still living with us though. We will not have any tiny babies if you are not comfortable with bottle feeding (kitten season should be over by then anyway)

If you need to BYO pet, small dogs welcome if they can be kept inside and are not likely to chase cats. Bigger dogs/small dog should be ok with prior introductions with our dog. She was great with our last puppy who passed away in June, but has also shown protective behaviours of our children so honestly, it would be a case of keeping them separate if there’s any signs of disagreement. Our dog prefers being outside anyway, and we have the yard partitioned with a patio door access and laundry door access separate.

House has aircon through out, you’d be welcome to your choice of bedrooms (master has king bed. 2 bedrooms have triple bunks with double/single configuration and last bedroom has a King Single)

Very happy with a family house sitting or responsible friends. House parties may attract unwanted gatecrashes so we strongly recommend against that!

Gardens are on retic, zero yard work expected except for a few pots to water.

5 min drive to local pool, an extremely well stocked Kmart, Coles and take away.
6 Mins to the food trucks or best pizza in town.
15 mins drive to Pretty Pools Beach or Port Hedland town.

We have not yet locked in dates, so could be flexi with your needs. Roughly 2-3 weeks post Christmas.

You may be required to finish off any left over pavlova or chocolate mousse in fridge.
