We live in an apartment - about 15min walk from the train station - and need someone to mind our dogs for two nights. We have two small dogs - one papillon and one papillon x chihuahua, both desexed females. Both are friendly with strangers. The papillon is very vocal when she's excited, but she does calm down. You can walk them if you want, but it's not necessary - they'll be fine for two nights without. The papillon does have long hair but she should be fine for two nights without grooming. If she does get anything stuck in her hair feel free to just cut it out - she doesn't care if she has a weird haircut so neither do we. We have a grass patch on the balcony for them, and pee pads for when they're shut inside. They need to be fed their dry food twice a day. If you want to go out and leave them alone, that's fine, just make sure you leave a lick mat out for each of them. We also have heaps of treats if you want to bribe them to do tricks.
After initial excitement, they're generally fine with other animals (it might take them an hour or so to really calm down if they're meeting a new animal). If you have pets you want to stay with you that are okay with small dogs (and all their toys lying around) then we're happy for them to stay, too.
Our apartment is on the top/fourth floor and has two bedrooms, both with beds.
