We need a house sitter

We're looking for a reliable house sitter to care for our 2 friendly cats (can be timid with strangers, but they'll warm up!) and 8 chickens.
We live on a couple of acres in a rural area, 10 mins drive to the closest town, and half an hour from Hobart.

We have a spacious and comfortable house with lots of natural light, There are three bedrooms, containing a queen, single bunks and a fold out sofa throughout. We have WiFi, Netflix, and a Google Chromecast. There is also a large private deck with an excellent hammock and a BBQ.

Liz and her family were very welcoming and did a great job of showing me around their beautiful home and the care routine for their chickens and 2 cats, Starchy and Mickey. Liz was great at communication and a quick responder to any queries that I had whilst they were away. I had a really lovely time making my way through the list of recommendations that Liz had left for me. Thank you for having me to stay ☺️

Liz and Andy were very welcoming from the minute we walked in. They went through everything we needed to know as well as leaving clear instructions. The two cats were no trouble and were easy to sit and stroke in the evening once they'd got to know us. The chickens just did their own thing once they'd been fed and cleaned. Thank you to Elizabeth and her family for allowing us to take care of their home and animals.we arrived the day before so we could get familiar with everyone and the routine. Nice place in the country with lovely helpful neighbours. Enjoyed our time there over the Christmas holidays.
