Palm Beach QLD

We're a young family with a home by the beach looking for a housesitter/s to care for our pets - a greyhound, cat + 2 guinea pigs over the Christmas period.

Home is an upstairs 2bed duplex in Southern Palm Beach. Superbly located between Laguna Lake & South Palm Beach/Currumbin Creek. Walk to the beach or Currumbin Creek in under 10min. Weekly farmers market nearby at PBC state school every Saturday.

Upstairs light & airy renovated duplex 2 bed, 1 bath.
Main room with king bed & 2nd bedroom is kids room with double bed. Bathroom with bath & seperate toilet.

Our pets are very welcoming, Phoebe the Greyhound is 5 years old so has plenty of energy but also loves to laze. She is an inside dog so housesitter will need to be comfortable with her being on the couch. Phoebe will need one (or two) short walks per day, we usually take her on one walk around Laguna Lake but sometimes she gets a second outing to the park as a family. She can be a little boisterous, for a greyhound as likes to chase a ball or play with toys but most of the day she is happy asleep on the couch.
Our cat Betty is a sweet little tabby who does her own thing, mostly lazes in the garden but always eager for food.
The two male guinea pigs are outside in their pen, they are low maintenance, they will require veg/leafy snacks twice per day as well as a clean pen every 2/3 days. They like to snuggle but are happy being left alone too.
Disclaimer... we also have a carpet python in an outdoor tank but she will not need any care during the housesit.
