House-Sitter Needed in Larapinta, Alice Springs
I’m looking for a reliable and caring house-sitter to care for my cozy 3-bedroom home and two wonderful cats while I’m away.

About the House:
Located on a peaceful street in Larapinta, our home has fantastic neighbours who look out for one another. It’s just steps from the Larapinta supermarket, a quick 3-minute drive to the stunning Desert Park, and boasts breathtaking sunrise views from the hill in the backyard.

The house features a lovely garden (a little overrun with grass right now!) that needs watering through a simple sprinkler system every other day. The master bedroom and ensuite are available for your use if you choose to stay here. Even though the house will be empty, please respect my housemate's privacy and any rooms marked with "Do Not Enter" signs.

About the Cats:

Frog (6 years old): A big, lovable former outdoor cat who sometimes gets anxious when bored or when other cats wander into the yard. He’s clever and can be sneaky when it comes to escaping, so vigilance is key when entering or exiting the house.
Lady Bird (aka Birdie, 2 years old): A sweet, low-maintenance cuddle bug who loves affection on her terms and doesn’t cause trouble.
Your responsibilities will include feeding the cats, cleaning their litter as needed, and ensuring Frog doesn’t get into mischief (e.g., eating plastic or making an escape attempt). I’ll provide mild anxiety medication for Frog, to be used sparingly and only after consulting with me.

The Ideal Candidate:
I’m seeking someone who is:

Quiet and respectful of my housemate’s space
Attentive and proactive, especially when handling Frog’s antics
Caring and capable of setting firm boundaries when needed
