North Coast - Northern Rivers

Hi we are Laura and Mark,
we have a property/Hobby farm in the Northern Rivers of NSW, 15 minutes from Iluka, ½ hour from Yamba and 1 hours south of Byron Bay and only two kms inland from the highway.
We have to go to America for family reasons.
We have never left the property for such a long time so we are looking for someone (possibly a couple) with some experience on a rural block with water pumps, mowing and farm animals.
We have an old cat, 18 years old which need medication twice a day (easily administered with food) which is our main worry so a cat lover is a must. We rescued two horses few years ago during the drought and we have been spoiling them by feeding them twice a day. 5 cows are also part of the gang, They are our lawn mowers and they look after themself in a fully fenced paddock. The whole property is fully fenced with entrance gate monitored by a security camera. We have lots of pot plants on the balcony that need watering and a veggie garden. The house has all the conforts including air conditioning, dish washer, wood fired heather , hot/cold water from rain water tanks and dam water for watering gardens.
Beautiful valley view, very quiet but not isolated. Looking forward to hearing from you.

No rating I felt completely relaxed the moment I met Laura and Mark: they were super welcoming, hospitable and fun as well! Their animals are really well looked after and no trouble to feed etc. Tootzie the cat was a little standoffish at first but after 3 days caved in to some contact and affection! There is a reasonable size garden and pots to water which is pleasurable with nice views and some tasty treats and herbs in the vege garden... The house and decks are comfy...
