Our main priority for this housesit would be for someone (preferably a couple) to look after our 12 year old male staffy for 2 weeks.
Our boy needs constant companionship (hence why we said we'd prefer a couple) as he suffers human separation anxiety. Walks/runs twice, or at least one long walk, per day will help with this. With enough notice our regular daytime sitters would be available if needed.
We live in a two storey house (all living upstairs) with large pool situated close to a lake, Maroochydore River and many beaches.
A small but comprehensive Foodworks store, doctors, pharmacy, cafe and restaurant short stroll away next door to the Twin waters Golf Course. Larger shopping centres approx 5 and 10 mins drive.
Lots of walking/bike tracks from outside the door for the outdoor fitness focussed people.
Minimum garden and pool care required with mail collection and bins the only other things required for this sit.

Sonic was a pleasure to look after, friendly, gentle and quiet most of the time with exceptions of birds and thunderstorms! Franca’s preparedness of food and her instructions for feeding Sonic and watering the garden were exemplary. Twin Waters is a quiet, friendly suburb and a great place for walks. Sonic needs constant presence so this stay suits a couple with their own transport.
House sitting for Franca was such a joy! Her villa in Twin Waters felt like a little slice of paradise, with a pool and amazing sunsets right from the terrace. Sonic, her dog, totally stole our hearts—we loved our daily walks and playtime with him. Franca is so warm and lovely, she made us feel right at home with her thoughtful touches and detailed instructions. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby beaches and local spots. We had a fantastic time and would happily do it again in a heartbeat!
I was housesitting and later a guest at Franca's house. It is a beautifull bright, very neat and clean house. The yard is well maintained and there is a beautifull pool. Sonic is a big puppy, likes cuddles and his walks, calm dog. Communication with Franca was great, we had contact online and if I had any questions-I had a response straight away. Franca is a beautiful soul, kind, easy to communicate with and very organised. Would recommend 100%..
Everything you want for a comfortable and enjoyable housesit. Sonic, the family pet was an angel to look after. Franca, the owner went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Great location near the river and about 15 minutes walk to the beach. More than happy to go back if ever needed and we are available.
House sitting is a fun, immersive way to experience this magnificent country - without paying a cent for accommodation!
