My 11yo Labrador needs a carer and walker while I take a break. I am looking for a home and pet carer without pets.

My classic mountain cottage with sunny decks, gardens and central heating is high in Australia's blue mountains national park which experiences cool temperate climate and occasionally snow. The village is a dog's walk away with cafes galleries groceries and music. We are close to many tourist attractions and dog friendly walks. The neighbours are very friendly and helpful. It will be necessary to own a car and valid licence to transport Mack. I can provide a car hammock

Mack needs a carer for a good walk in the morning and shorter walk in the afternoon every day. He cannot be left alone in the house or yard. However he is a good traveller and will wait in a cool airy vehicle without stress.

Mack’s diet must be monitored as labs seek out food everywhere. Otherwise he has arthritis medication but no major concerns.

Given the length of the sit, I will need the sitter to Mow / trim front verge and rear lawn with a general eye on serious weeds. This will be reduced with the cooler weather of course.

A current licence passport or police check will also be required.
